These are officially my new obsession! They are very salty so take that into consideration when you add to a recipe.
-1/4 cup capers
-1/2 cup avocado oil
Soak for 30 minutes, rinse and dry with a paper towel by tapping lightly. Let dry for a few minutes.
Heat 1/2 cup of avocado oil in a cast iron pan.
Add capers to the oil stirring gently
Let brown and remove from the oil onto some fresh paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Allow to cool off to room temperature.
Voila! Crispy capers.
Serve on salads, breakfasts or this pickled blueberry burrata.
