We really love a night of pizza making at home. Jonny makes dough and the sauce while I pick the toppings and decorate it. It always end up looking and tasting different each time. Here's one of our go to sauce recipe.
-1 clove garlic chopped
-1 shallot chopped
-Pinch of sea salt
-Cracked black pepper
-3 large yellow heirloom tomatoes (or any other color)
-1/4 cup pine nuts
-1 Tbsp Jonny Hetherington Essentials Peach Habanero Hot Sauce (adjust to your spiciness preferences)
Cube the tomatoes and wazz all ingredients in a processor.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 min to burn off a little liquid.
Voila! Fresh heirloom tomato pizza sauce.
