#EssentialRecipe => Chicken Popsicles

Chicken Popsicles are one of my signature dishes. Try to eat just one, I dare you!

If you’re throwing a party or just watching the game, this is the perfect way to enjoy chicken drums.
Follow this recipe and you will be hooked:

Trim the drum sticks. Slice a quarter inch off of the bottom of each drum to create a flat surface so they can stand up on their own.

Run a knife around the bone near the meat. Cut tendons with scissors. Pull skin and tendons from cut line over the handle of the bone. Use paper towel for grip. Run two fingers down the bone to gather meat near base.

Marinate drums in fridge door sauce.
Fridge door marinade is whatever is in your refrigerator at this moment. Peanut oil, sesame oil, ketchup, dijon, fruit juice, beer, whiskey, and of course Peach Habanero Hot Sauce, literally raid your refrigerator door and throw caution to the wind. Add sea salt freshly cracked pepper, and refrigerate covered for 1 to 24 hours.

Heat your oven to 350. Place standing up in a castiron pan. Give them a blast for 10 min and then turn the oven down to 190. Slow and low for 3 - 4 hours is perfect.
Paint them with Smoky Original BBQ sauce mixed with Pineapple Habanero Sauce about 30 min before they come out.

We’re talking fall off the bone juicy, tender popsicles.

Dip these in blue cheese or ranch.

Voila! Essential chicken popsicles.
